Its now time for yet another shot of the seagulls on the rocky outcrop at Portland bill. This time the young seagull seen in the post Flying in the air is positioned standing on the cliff. The others had flown off and I only have a 18-55mm kit lens. Zooming in to the 55mm end to the lens and getting close to the subject I took the shot before it flew away. After cropping the image and editing the contrast in Photoshop the final photo contains the seagull filling the frame with the rock and the ocean as a background. I had my camera on shutter priority mode and dialled in a shutter speed of 1/640th second leaving the camera to select an aperture of F5.6. All of this combined leave a great finished photograph.
